SHE SAID
The last meal we had in Sparks, NV was at Peg’s Glorified Ham n Eggs on E. Prater Way. It’s only open from 0630 until 1330 (6:30 AM to 1:30 PM) so plan accordingly. Y’all know not to show up at 1:20 right? That’s just rude to the staff. Unless, of course, you’re just picking up an order. Just had to stick that in there. I’ve never been a worker in a restaurant but I know what it is like having last-second customers. Backs up the whole cleaning-up process.
Anyway, PSA out of the way…
What a treat was Peg’s! Make sure you are hungry when you go to Peg’s!!
A regular serving is enough to feed at least two people, maybe three.
I had the “Hawaiian Breakfast”. It consisted of fried eggs and fluffy white rice and a thick slice of fried Spam and a bucket load of sliced Portuguese sausage, also fried. Each little round was fried with lightly crisped edges. Even the Spam. The plate must have been 14 inches across and it was heaped with deliciousness. Of course, there was soy sauce on the table.
Can’t say enough! Even the bathrooms were clean and in working order. Hey, that’s a plus. I cannot say how disappointed I am when the bathroom in a restaurant is not kept clean. It happens more often than you think.
Alright then. Let’s see what He has to say about Peg’s Glorified Ham n Eggs.

Ordered
Portuguese Sausage and Spam and Eggs, and Rice
Large portions, Sausage was spicier than I remembered, Had to share that with my Wife. Same meal
